Texas Orthopedics is the largest provider of comprehensive musculoskeletal services in Central Texas - serving the Austin community since 1986. With twenty physicians, Texas Orthopedics provides specialized expertise and broad experience in the areas of  general orthopaedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, spine surgery, non-operative spine and neck care, foot and ankle surgery,  hand surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and arthritis treatment. In addition, Texas Orthopedics has in-house x-ray, MRI, bone densitometry, physical and occupational therapy, and a Joint Commission accredited ambulatory surgery center to provide patients with a unique opportunity to receive a full scope of medical services under one roof. The orthopaedic surgeons perform outpatient surgical procedures, such as arthroscopic surgery, at the ambulatory surgery center.  Our physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist provide nonsurgical back and neck pain treatment in the Texas Orthopedics Surgery Center; for example, injections under x-ray guidance. Texas Orthopedics' highly skilled team of physicians complement each other with expertise in every aspect of orthopedic diagnosis, treatment, and care. Texas Orthopedics has a physician that is fellowship trained in six subspecialties of orthopedics. These subspecialties include: spine, shoulder and elbow, hand, hip replacement, knee replacement, foot and ankle, and sports medicine. In addition to our fellowship trained and general orthopedists, our physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists provide nonsurgical back and neck treatment.

Texas Orthopedics has offices in Northwest Austin, Central Austin, Westlake, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Marble Falls. Our six locations provide our Central Texas patients the opportunity to visit their orthopaedic surgeon or physiatrist where it is convenient for them. Appointments are generally available on the same day or next day. Our full time locations in Northwest Austin, Central Austin, Westlake, and Cedar Park offer physician as well as therapy services. Our satellite clinic in Round Rock offers Tuesday and Thursday appointments, while our outreach Marble Falls office offers Tuesday appointments.

Texas Orthopedics physicians provide a free monthly arthritis seminar on the first Thursday of the month from 5-7 pm. This informational seminar allows patients to learn more about arthritis treatment options and total hip replacement and total knee replacement surgery. Our physicians spend quality time in the Austin community speaking on common orthopedic issues and volunteering at local Austin events. In November, Texas Orthopedics sponsored a water stop at the Austin Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. Each December, we contribute to a local charity. This year, we donated pajamas and books to The Pajama Program. We are hosting a continuing education seminar in January for primary care physicians as well as speaking to family practice residents at Brackendridge Hospital. Most recently, four of our orthopedic surgeons traveled to Haiti to the Mission of Hope Haiti to provide medical care and supplies. In addition, Texas Orthopedics physicians are the sports medicine providers for the Austin Toros, Texas Stars, and many Austin area high schools.
