Austin staple restaurant Jaime's Spanish Village is closing Friday after losing its lease earlier this month.
Jaime's has been in business at Eighth Street and Red River for 79 years, and the future of that location after their departure isn't clear.
The restaurant has several events planned for their last day, including mariachi music at 10:15 p.m.
Since the owner announced the closure on July 8, all of Jaime's profits have gone to the Jaime's Employee Fund, which will help those affected after the close.
You will still be able to find their salsas and queso in Whole Foods and Central Market.
The restaurant has a Facebook page and is asking customers to share their memories of Jaime's.
