One person was killed and one was injured Thursday morning after police say a car didn't yield while making a turn and was hit by an oncoming car.

Cedar Park Police said that around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, they responded to an accident where a F-350 truck hit a Buick 4-door. Officers determined the Buick, which was driving westbound on RM 1431, attempted to turn onto Lakeline Boulevard without yielding. The truck, which was driving eastbound, hit the Buick, causing serious damage.

The Buick's passenger, Willis Lee Hoerger, 83, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver, Dorothy Jeanne Hoerger, 81, was transported to Seton Williamson with minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.

Police expect to not file any charges in the accident, but say it is still under investigation.
