David and Amy Beilharz want to give you a bird's eye view of nature. The goal of the Cypress Valley Canopy Tours is to provide an enlivening adventure while instilling knowledge and a desire to protect our natural resources. The zip-line tours are located in Spicewood, 30 miles west of downtown Austin.

The Cypress Valley Canopy Tour is an hour and a half tour through a Cypress lined creek ravine. The tour includes three sky bridges and 6 zip-lines. The longest is over 350 feet. Most zip-lines launch and land on platforms up to 40 feet high in the trees.
At the first platform your guides will help you acclimate to the heights and point out some of the things you'll be seeing on your tour. Then you and your guides are free to fly through the canopy taking in the views and enjoying the exhilaration of soaring through the trees. People from 10 to 80 have tested their nerve on zip lines and sky bridges. Owners say it is one of the few things teenagers will actually want to do with their family.
The Cypress Valley Canopy Challenge is available for people who have successfully completed the Canopy Tour, and want more. The Canopy Challenge takes about two hours and is in a different part of the creek ravine. There are a few longer faster zip-lines, and a longer, narrower sky bridge with wider gaps between the wooden planks. After these, guests enter a grove of trees where there are three paths to choose between, one hard, the second harder and the third hardest. Guests work to challenge themselves emotionally and physically to complete this portion of the course. They will need to work through fear, maintain their balance and use their own strength to complete the course.
